The answer to this question is option A) 1.5 ohm. Explanation:-
Let,
The two resistances in parallel be R¹ and R². Then,
1/R'¹= 1/R¹+1/R²= 1/1+1/1= 2 ohm= 1/2 ohm
Also,
Let, The other resistance be R³. Then,
Req= R'¹+R³= 1/2+1= 3/2 ohm= 1.5 ohm
