Let the two digit number be xy

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

10x + y + 10y + x = 143

=>

11x + 11y = 143

=>

x + y = 13... Equation ( i )

y - x= 3 ... Equation ( ii )

Add both the Equations we get

2y = 16

=>

y = 8 And x = 5

let the digits be x and y

thus the no. is 10x+y

digits interchanged, the no is 10y+x

according to condition,

10x+y + 10y+x=143

11x+11y=143

x+y=13. ........divide by11 ......(1)

now y=x+3

thus for (1)

11x+11(x+3)=143

11x+11x+33=143

22x=143-33

22x=110

x=110/22=5

thus y=5+3=8

no. is 10(5)+8

=58
