For bulbs:

Power=40W

t=5hours

P=W÷t

40÷5=W

8J=W

By 4 bulbs=4×8=32J

For tubelights:

Similarly;

W=60÷5

W=12J

For 4 tube lights 12×4=48J

For T.V.:

Similarly;

W=100÷6

W=16.67J

For washing machine:

Similarly;

W=400÷3

W=133.34J

Total energy=32+48+16.67+133.34

=230.01J per day

Now for 30 days=230.01×30

=6900.3J

=6900.3÷1000 j.k

=6.903kJ

1kwh or 1 kJ=rs 1.80

6.903kJ=6.903×1.80

Please check the calculations.....but this is how we solve the sum..I am pretty sure.....

Sorry for the inconvenience..

Yours sincerely

BULBS..

---> E = P×T× n = 4 × 40 × 5 = 800J

TUBE LIGHTS....

----> E = 4 × 60× 5 = 1200J

T.V.......

-----> E = 100 × 6 =600

washing machine. ....

----> E is 400×3 = 1200

cost= total energy × no. of days × cost

=3800/1000 ×30 ×1.80

= 20.52
