VALUES

Values are broadly divided into two types, i.e, material values which include hard work, discipline, etc. and spiritual values such as truth, generosity, etc. Children get their values from various sources like family, school, books & electronic media and self experience. From family, they get values through direct instruction or by simple observation. While at school, they obtain values through formal teaching which includes books and syllabus or regular school activities like sports. From books and electronic media, they get values through either religious scriptures, biographies, etc. or films, documentaries and so on. Self experience values come from personal experiences which differs from person to person.
