The question is difficult to answer and requires complex calculations if the triangles are inclined as in the first figure.
It is easier if the bases BC and FE of the triangles are parallel... Then as all internal angles are 60 deg., AB || DE. and FD || AC.
Then we have parallelograms inside... In parallelograms opposite sides are equal. So
PQ = TS QR = UT PU = RS
Sum of the squares = 2² + 3² + 4² = 29 cm²
