The shortcut key to apply borders is Ctrl + Shift + & .

The steps to apply border around the cells in MS Excel are as follows :-

⏩ Select the cell or range of cells where you want to apply the border .

⏩ Select the Home tab .

⏩ Go to the Fonts group .

⏩ Then click the arrow beside the Border option .

⏩ Choose an appropriate border from the drop down options .

⏩ Finally the border will be applied to the cells !

⏩ MS Excel contains rows and columns which upon intersection causes several rectangular objects called cells .

⏩ These cells are useful for entering data in the form of text and others .
