There was total 4000 workers

In end of First year 10% of workers were remove. So,

10% of 4000 = (10 * 4000)/100 = 400 workers

Therefore 400 workers were removed

Now, Workers still working will be

4000 - 400 = 3600 workers are still working

In end of second year 5% of workers were retrenched those who working at that time.

So , currently there are 3600 workers are working. And we have to find

5% of 3600 = (5 * 3600)/100 = 180 workers

Therefore 180 workers retrenched

Now, workers still working will be

3600 - 180 = 3420 workers are still working

In end of third year 15% workers increased.

So, now we have to find

15% of 3420 = (15 * 3420)/100 = 513 workers

As 15% workers increased we have to add the workers to find that how many workers are still working i.e.

3420 + 513 = 3933 workers are working

So, at the end of 3rd year there are in total 3933 workers. So in whole 4th year there will be 3933 workers.

Answer:- 3933 workers were working during 4th year

Answer:
=======

10% of 4000= 400

So,

4000 - 400 = 3600

For 2nd year (ending),

5% of 3600 = 180

3600 - 180 = 3420

For 3rd year (ending),

15% of 3420 = 513

3420 + 513 = 3933

So,

The total number of workers working in the complex were 3933.
