1) The distribution of industries in India is uneven because there are different factors affecting the location of Industries like Nearness to raw material, power, labour, transport facilities,etc.

4) The distribution of population in the world is extremely uneven. Some areas are very crowded and some areas sparsely populated.

1) More than 90% of the world's population lives in about 10% of land surface.

2) The densely populated areas are south and Southeast Asia, Europe and North Eastern part of North America.

3) Very few people live in the areas of high latitude, tropical desert, high mountains and areas of equatorial forest

4) Almost three quarters of the world people live in two continents Asia and Africa.

5) 60% the world's population stay in 10 countries.
