The answer is option (d).

The degree (highest power) in all the other equations is 2 (i.e.) quadratic.

But, the last equation degree is 3 (i.e.) cubic. So, the correct answer is option (d). It is not a quadratic equation.

Hope my answer helps you!

(x + 2)(x - 1) = {x}^{2} - 2x - 3 \\ = > {x}^{2} + x - 2 = {x}^{2} - 2x - 3 \\ = > 3x + 1 = 0 \\ since \: power \: 2 \: is \: absent \: it \: is \: not \: a \: quadratic \: equation \\
Hope it helps
