Explanation:

The reason is because, bar 2 has two ends which attract and repel bar 1

so even if bar 1 was not magnetic, bar 2 is definitely magnetic.

Now from 3^{rd} and 4^{th} information shows that  bar 3 has two ends which behave in similar manner (attract) towards bar 1

This confirms that bar 1 is magnetic and bar 3 isn't.
