then my age  = 3x years

after 5 years my son age = x+5

after 5 years my age = 3x+5

now as per equation

3x+5 = 5/2(x+5)

3x + 5 = 5/2 x+ 25/2

3x -5x/2 = 25/2-5

(6x-5x)/2 = (25-10)/2

x/2 = 15/2

x = 15 * 2/2 = 15 years

so my son age is 15 years

my age is  =  3x = 15*3 = 45 years
