Question :-

Circumference of circular ground is 176m. Determine the area of the ground.

Solution :-

We know that the circumference of circle = 2πr

Given circumference = 176m

So 2πr = 176

=> 2 × 22/7 × r = 176

=> 44/7 × r = 176

=> r = 176 × 7/44

=> r = 28 m

So now area of circle = πr²

So area of circle = 22/7 × 28²

=> area of circle = 22/7 × 784

=> area of circle = 2464 m²

circumference of circle=22/7 *d
176 *7/22=D
1232/22=d
56=D
radius =28
area of circle = 22/7 *28*28
22/7* 784
17248/7
2464m^2
