Volume of cylinder = π r^2 h

For 1st cylinder formed:

Here, circumfrance of base circle

2πr = 30 cm

r = 15/π cm

and h = 18 cm

Volume of 1st cylinder= π 15/πx15/πx18 cu. M.

Circumfrance of base radius of 2nd cylinder so formed: = 18 cm

2πr = 18

Radius of 2 nd cylinder= 9/π cm

Volume of 2 nd cylinder= π x 9/π x 9/π x 30 cu. M.

Ratio of volume of cylinders

= 15x15x18 / 9 x 9 x 30 (by cancelling all π both in nr. And Dr.)

= 15: 9= 5: 3
