30.he sold it for 50 more. so originally one chair price is 450 - 50 = 400

the number of chairs he bought will be
10000/400 = 25
So he bought 25 chairs.

31. First find the area of shaded rectangle. it is
80 × 50 = 4000 m2. Thats 75% of whole rectangle

So first do 100 - 75 = 25%

then 100 + 25 = 25%

Now 125/100 × 4000 = 5000m2


Now do 125% of 80 and 50
You should get 100 and 62.5

to find x do 100 - 80 = 20 for the length of x
to find x for the breadth do 62.5 - 50 = 12.5
