Let the Age of Sahil's mother be y.
Given that the age of Sahil's mother is three times the present age of Sahil.
= > y = 3x.
After 5 years:
The age of Sahil = x + 5.
The age of Sahil's mother = 3x + 5.
Given that After 5 years their ages will be 66 years.
= > x + 5 + 3x + 5 = 66
= > 4x + 10 = 66
= > 4x = 56
= >x = 14.
Therefore present age of Sahil = 14 years.
Therefore present age of Sahil's mother = 3(14)
= 42 years.
