Answer:

A. 1

explanation:

given ,

I = 1 + √2 + √3

m = 1 + √2 - √3

Let X = I² + m² -2I - 2m   (A)

adding 2 from both sides

X + 2 = I² + m² -2I - 2m + 2

=>  X + 2 = I²  -2I + 1 + m² - 2m + 1

=>  X + 2 =  (I -1)² + (m-1)²

substituting values of I and m from above

X + 2 = (√2 + √3)² + (√2 - √3)²

X + 2 = 2 + 3 + 2√6 + 2 + 3 - 2√6

X + 2  = 10

X = 8

as per question we have to find

(I² + m² -2I - 2m)/8

=> X /8 = 8/8 = 1
