Answer:

i ) x = 140°

ii ) x =  100°

iii ) x = 140°

Step-by-step explanation:

( i ) given = ∠A = 104°

∠C = 116°

R.T.P = x

construction : EF is drawn parallel to AB and CD

Proof : ∠FEC + ∠DCE = 180 ° ( co - interior )

x1 + 116° = 180°

x1 = 180 - 116 = 64

x1 = 64°

∠AEF + ∠BAE = 180° ( co - interior )

x2 + 104 = 180°

x2 = 180 - 104 = 76

x2 = 76°

Now ,

x = x1 + x2

x = 64 + 76 = 140°

x = 140°

ii) Given = ∠A = 65°

∠C = 35°

R.T.P = x

construction : FG is parallel to AB and CD

Proof : x1 = ∠A = 65° ( alternate ∠s )

x2 = ∠C= 35° (alternate ∠s )

Now ,

x = x1 + x2

x = 65 + 35

x = 100°

iii) Given = ∠ B = 35°

∠D = 75°

R.T.P = x

CONSTRUCTION : MN is drawn parallel to AB and CD

Proof : x1 + ∠B = 180° ( co- interior )

x1 + 35 = 180°

x1 = 180 - 35

x1 = 145°

x2 + ∠D = 180 ° ( co- interior )

x2 + 75 = 180 °

x2 = 180 - 75

x2 = 105 °

Now ,

x = x1 + x2

x = 145 + 105

x = 250°
