madhav was the student of class 9th.he was always a topper.but he had a competioner whose name was pratibha.she was equally brilliant as madhav.annual examinations just started.his parents, grandparents, elder sister, aunts and uncle pressurized him to top the class.his parents told that if he will not top so he will not be allowed to watch TV or use mobile phones.also he was in depression because if he will not top so it would be a shame for him.he was studying every day till late night. he was doing well in all examinations. he hoped to get full marks in all attempt subjects.but on the day of maths examination, he did a mistake that would cost him a mark less than hundred.now, he had gone on a deep depression. he was fearing that pratibha will top the class and he will be humiliated. he was so depressed as he was unable to prepare well for the next exams. as a result, he had done little mistakes in some other subjects too.On the day of results distribution, he missed first rank by three marks.
if he was not fearing, perhaps he would be a topper.
morals:we should not lose our confidence for little mistakes. we should ignore them and look for the next opportunity.
