CORRECT QUESTION :-

★ Find the zeros of the quadratic polynomial √2x² + 7x + 5√2 .

GIVEN :-

  • A Quadratic polynomial 2x² + 7x + 5√2 .

TO FIND :-

  • The zeros of polynomial.

SOLUTION :-

→ √2x² + 7x + 5√2 = 0

By splitting the middle term,

→ √2x² + 5x + 2x + 5√2 = 0

Taking common,

→ x(√2x + 5) + √2(√2x + 5) = 0

→ (√2x + 5) , (x + √2) = 0

→ √2x + 5 = 0 , x + √2 = 0

→ √2x = -5 , x = -√2

→ x = -5/√2 , x = -√2

→ x = -5/√2 , x = -√2

Hence the Zeros of Quadratic polynomial are -5/√2 and -√2.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :-

Quadratic Formula,

→ x = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)]/2a

The use of the quadratic Formula is to find the values of the root of the Quadratic polynomial .
