Question A

i) From the figure, we can see that the both offsprings show the trait of green stemmed character..Here the G allele is the dominant one and the g allele gets supressed by the dominant G allele.

ii) From the punnet square it is observed that 3 of the offsprings are green stemmed while one is brown stemmed.The ratio is in 3:1. Hence the % of brown stemmed is 25%

iii) Again from the figure it can be observed that the genotypic ratio of Gg : gg is 2:1

Question B

Here it can be concluded that in the F1 generation all the offsprings are green stemmed that is they show only the dominant traits...In the F2 generation 75% of the offsprings show the dominant trait (green stemmed character) while only 25% show the recessive trait (brown stemmed character).The genotypic ratio is 1:2:1 while the phenotypic ratio is 3:1
