a = log 20 = log(5×2²) = log5 + 2log2
b = log (8/3) = log (2³/3) = 3log2 - log3
c = 2log(3^½/2) =2×½log3 - 2log2
Thus,
a - b - c
= log5 +2log2 - 3log2 +log3 - log3 +2log2
= log5 + log2
= log(5/2)
