Perimeter is sum of all sides

So its perimeter will be 12 x 2 = 24 m

Area of square = side x side

we can divide this figure in 5 squares.

So, area of 1 square = 2 x 2 = 4 square m

Area of 5 squares = 4 x 5 sq. m = 20 sq. m

So the correct answer is option (a)
