Hello,
To check whether g(x) is a factor of p(x) or not
We need to divide the above polynomials
If the remainder comes zero then the polynomial is a factor of p (x) and if not then it's not.
One more method can be used to solve the question.
We know that by factor theorem if (x-a) is a factor of p(x) then p(a) should be equal to 0.
We will check the same of it comes zero then it's a factor and if not then it's not.
Both the processes are easy.
I have solved by both. Please refer the above photograph for the used process.
