Given :

 \alpha  =   \sqrt{5}

 \beta  =  - 5

To form quadratic equation

x {}^{2}  - ( \alpha  +  \beta )x +  \alpha  \beta

x {}^{2}  - ( \sqrt{5}  + ( -  \sqrt{5}))x \:  +  \sqrt{5}   \times ( -  \sqrt{5})

x {}^{2}   +  \sqrt{5} x -  \sqrt{5} x  -  5

x {}^{2}   - 5

Hence correct option is C
