i) ∠QPR = 53°

since,

Angle suspended by the diameter of circle is 90°

therefore,

∠QRP = 90°

Also,

Sum of all interior angle of a triangle is 180

therefore

∠PQR+∠QRP+∠QPR=180

=> 37+90+∠QPR=180

=> ∠QPR = 180-37-90

=> ∠QPR = 53

ii) if PR = 8cm and RQ = 6cm find PQ.

since, ∠QRP is 90° therefore △PQR is a right angled triangle

therefore,

(PR)²+(RQ)²=(PQ)²

=> (8)²+(6)²=(PQ)²

=> 64+36=(PQ)²

=> 100 = (PQ)²

=>  \sqrt{100} = PQ

=> PQ = 10

hence, PQ is 10cm
