gandhi ji decided to go for non-cooperation movement as he believed that british rule was established by the cooperation of indians and if indians deny to cooperate the rule would collapse

Movement is the form of collective action involving of cross section of people rather than individual action in different region.

Mahatma Gandhi decided to go on non cooperation movement by unfolding it in stages:

1. It was to begin with surrender of titles that the government awarded.

2. Followed by boycotts of service army,police,school,college courts,foreign goods and legislative councils.
