your answer...

Yes, I think that the title is indeed appropriate. A person cannot be judged by the awkward appearance as a book cannot be judged by its cover. The two boys teach us how to be determined, optimistic, selfless and lead a dignified life even in the times of adversities. The two young boys of Verona face many hurdles in their life as their family loses its wealth. Instead of losing hope, they believe in themselves and have faith in their abilities. They display the positive traits of hope, faith, love and trust. Their selflessness is exemplary as they show single minded devotion to their sister.

The boys, Nicola and Jacopo are indeed gentlemen. They possess all the qualities such as hardwork, dedication, empathy and fortitude. They are self-sacrificing in nature, and started working in Verona to pay for the treatment of their ailing sister Lucia. Even though the bomb destroyed their house, and they were thrown out on the streets along with their sister, they braved through the difficulties. They were self-respecting and never resort to any short-cut methods. Even though work was scarce in Verona, they did whatever work that came their way to pay for the treatment of their sister. Their selflessness, dedication to their sister bought a new nobility to their cause. Hence, they are rightfully two gentlemen.
