A can do the work in 15 days

A's one day work = 1/15

B can do the work in 10 days

B's one day work = 1/10

( A + B)'s one day work = ( 1/15 + 1/10)

= ( 2 + 3) / 30

= 5 /30

= 1/6

( A + B)'s four days work = 4/6 = 2/3

Left work = 1 - 2/3 = 1/3

Now,

Number of days Required for A to finish the work = ( 1/ 3) / (1/15)

= 15 /3

= 5 days
