An escalator moves up at the rate of 6 ft/sec and its length 20 ft. If a person walks up on the moving escalator at the rate of 2 ft/sec, how much time does he take to cover the entire length?

Time taken to cover the entire length = Total distance/Resultant speed.

= > 20/(6 + 2)

= > 20/8

= > 2.5 seconds.
