2. Fibres have pointed ends.
3. Striations are absent.
4. Intercalalated discs are absent.
5. Uninucleated muscle fibre.
6. Oval nuclei which are centrally placed.
7. Present in form of sheets.
8. Involuntary in nature.
9. Performs slow but prolonged contractions.
10. Rarely get fatigued.
Striated muscles :
1. Cells are long and cylindrical in shape.
2. Fibres have blunt ends.
3. Striations are present.
4. Intercalated discs are absent.
5. Multinucleated muscle fibre.
6. Oval nuclei which are peri-pherally placed.
7. Present in form of bundles.
8. Voluntary in nature.
9. Performs fast and powerful contractions.
10. Soon get Fatigued.
