A figure is given and we have to find the angles named x and y.
- x=80°
- y=60°
Sum of all interior angles is 180°[Angle sum property]
So,
50°+30°+angle AEC=180°
80°+angle AEC=180°
Angle AEC=180°-80°
Angle AEC=100°.........(1)
Angle AEC+Angle AEB=180°
100°+x°=180° [From eqn (1)]
x°=180°-100°
x°=80°
Sum of interior angles of the triangle = 180°
90°+30°+y°=180°
120°+ y°=180°
y°=180°-120°
y°=60°
