F(x)=2x^2-5x+k

 \alpha  +  \beta  = 5 \div 2

 \alpha  \beta  = k \div 2

Given,

 \alpha  -  \beta  = 5

Adding the equation we get

 \alpha  = 15 \div 4

put the value of alpha in equation, then

 \beta  =  - 5 \div 4

 \alpha  \beta  = k \div 2

put the value of alpha and beta then

k =  - 37.5
