Because of the large quantity of bacteria in the human mouth, a human bite can easily lead to infection. See a doctor about any bite that breaks the skin. Seek medical help right away if you have pain, swelling, or redness in the area of the wound. Bites near your face, feet, or hands may be more serious.

It can affect the human body bcause of the large quantity of bacteria in the human mouth. A human bite can easily lead to infection. If any break happens in the skin, one should consult a doctor.  Bites near the face, feet, or hands can be more serious.

As tested, human bites have been shown to transmit hepatitis B, hepatitis C, herpes simplex virus (HSV), syphilis, tuberculosis, actinomycosis, and tetanus. Evidence suggests even transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) through human bites is possible but very unlikely.
