5760 lts.
part filled by pipe A in 1 min=1/20
part filled by pipe B in 1 min=1/30
part filled by (A+B) in 1 min = (1/20)+(1/30)=1/12
Hence Both pipes together will FILL TANK in 12 MINUTES
Both fill at rate of 8 lts per second
==> 60*8 lts per 60 seconds=> 480 lts per min
In 1 min 480 lts will be filled.
In 12th minute tank capacity will be 12*480= 5760 lts
