please answer this question: the electric power consumed by a device may be calculated by using either of the two expressions, p = I2R or P = V2 / R. the first expressions indicates that it is directly proportional to R whereas the second expressions indicates inverse proportionality. how can the seemingly different dependence of P on R in these expressions be explained

Answer:
=> In first expression:-
P= I²R
We know that P=VI.
And By ohm's law (V= IR)
So, P = IR×I
P= I²R --(1)
In second expressions:-
P= V²/R
we know that P=VI.
And By ohm's law (I=V/R)
So, P=V×V/R
P= V²/R
