Let the Selling price of 5 m cloth be a

Selling price of 25 m cloth = 5a

Profit made of 25 m cloth = a

=> Selling price of 25 m cloth - Cost price of 25 m cloth = a

=> 5a - Cost price of 25 m cloth = a

=> Cost price of 25 m cloth = 5a - a = 4a

Now,

Profit percent = Profit × 100 / Cost price

= a × 100 / 4a

= 100 / 4

= 25 %
