gravitation is a mutually attractive force that is directly proportional to the product of mass of the object and the earth and is indirectly proportional to the square of distances between them,
therefore,
F (gravitational force)=GMm÷R^2
here,
F is gravitational force,
G is the gravitational constant used to remove the proportionality symbol,
M is mass of planet (in case of earth it is 6×10^24kg)
m is mass of the object,
and R is the distance between the centre of the earth to the object.
since, in the question he says placed on surface of earth...
R is equal to 64000km.
and G is 6.67×10^-11 (ten power minus eleven)
