Concept

This question is related to construction of quadrilateral when 2 sides and 3 angles are given. To solve this question, Consider the base whose both angles are given.

Steps of construction

  1. A line segment AB of length 6 cm is drawn.
  2. At point A, an angle of 72° is drawn.
  3. At point B, an angle of 110° is drawn.
  4. With B as a centre, draw an arc of radius 5 cm.
  5. At point D draw an angle of 90°.
  6. Join DC

Hence, ABCD is the required Quadrilateral

Additional information

  • We atleast need 5 information for constructing a Quadrilateral. But If we have less than 5 information,we can construct a Special type of quadrilateral
  • Special type of quadrilateral - Square, Rectangle, kite, trapezium, parallelogram and rhombus.
