these lines are parallel because sum of their interior angle is (90+90)= 180 i.e. 180 .... co - interior angle or their corresponding angle are equal .
angle APS = angle AQS ( CORRESPONDING)
OR,
angle BPR + angle AQS = 90+90=180°. ( co - interior)

yes these lines will be parallel because
PR and QS are perpendicular to AB
so angle RPQ= 90° =angle SQP
angle RPQ+ Angle SQP=90°+90°=180°
BUT they are forming co-int angles so PR//QS
