Answer:

As AB is the tangent of length 20cm and radius of circle is 3 cm.

As we know that radius and tangent are perpendicular to each other ,

So,

AOB will be right angle triangle with right angle at A.

ln right angle triangle AOB ab is hypotenuse and AB and AO are perpendicular and base.

So,

OB =  \sqrt{ {20}^{2}  +  {3}^{2} }   \\  =  \sqrt{400 + 9}  \\  =  \sqrt{409}

So,

length of BC = length of OB + length of OC.

BC =  \sqrt{409}  + 3

As,

Answer is not matched to any option because the question is wrong.

lf the length of tangent is 4 centimetre then the correct option will be came as,

if tangent is 4 cm then

OB =  \sqrt{ {4}^{2} +  {3}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{16 + 9}  \\  =  \sqrt{25 }  \\  = 5cm

So,

BC = 5 + 3 = 8cm
