• Radius always joines tangent at 90°

Solution: Since ∆ABC is right at angle Q,

→ H² = B² + P²

• H = OP = 25
• B = PQ = 24

→ OP² = PQ² + OQ²

→ 25² = 24² + OQ²

→ 25² - 24² = OQ²

→ (25 + 24)(25 - 24) = OQ²

→ √49 = OQ

→ 7 cm = OQ

Length of radius is 7 cm.
