Today I was greeted another time with some familiar faces that were of my brothers. I was extremely happy to see both of them today. Earlier after the death of our father, I was in a dilemma of what would happen to my younger brothers and after my hospitalization I started to become more and more worried and concerned about them, but now when I see both of them becoming independent and determined, I am not at all worried as I have got to know that the situations have made them such mature and bold which clearly surpasses their tender ages of twelve and thirteen. I am not at all worried about my situation as I know that my brothers are taking good care of me, although I do not know what they both are doing to earn money, but I know it clearly that whatever they both are doing, they are doing it well and are able to pay the fees for my treatment. I truly wish that God may take good care of my bothers and they both become successful in their lives.

Today, Nicola and Jacopo had just visited me. It was indeed a great releive that They came and talk to me as they only come rarely. They also paid the hospital fee. I know they really work very hard to look after me and my deadly disease. I know they are too young and despite thier age, they work so hard and they love me a lot.
Years after, from then and now, when I compare my pictures of life, i never want to recall that deadly war that damaged our everything, everything I had except my sweet brothers and thier indomitable courage and fortitude. I still remember how young they were, how happy they were, and me too, before quite a few years ago, how we enjoyed our life to the fullest.
We never expect the war and that incident completely changed our life. A bomb was hit on the lands of Germany and it was worth the life of my mumma and papa. After the mass destruction, after my parents passed away, even when they know they will never come back, Nicola and Jacopo never broke thier spirit. They just build a self made shelter and things were going somewhat okay. But, when this deadly disease, Tuberculosis of spine hit me, it hit them! That'll never happen. Because I know my brothers will not lose thier courage. If i am writing this today, i am very sure, it's only because of Nicola and Jacopo. I love them more than i love me. They are the gentlemen of mine.
