Through this poem, the poet regets for not looking after her teeth.Currently poey is sitting at the dentist chair and remembering that if she had not eaten so much lollies, candies, sherbet dams , then her teeth would all right.She regrets for not listening to her mother. She regrets for brushing the twice in a day but all in the sake of formality. There was a time when she used to laugh at her mother's false teeth soaked in the water, but now its the time of beckoning , its the time when everyone would laugh at her.
