So we equate it.

1) 7x^2 + 4xy
    7(2)^2 + 4(2)(3)
    7*4+24 = 52.

2) 3x^2y-y^3
3(2)^2*(3)-(3)^3
3*4*3-27 = 36-27 = 9.

3) 7xy-x^2
7*2*3-(2)^2
42-4 = 38.

4) 2xy+x^2-y^2
2*2*3 + 4 - 9
12+4-9 = 16-9 = 7.

= 28 + 24
= 52

b) 3x^2y- y^3 = 3*2*2*3 - 3^3
= 36 - 27
= 9

c) 7xy-x^2 = 7*2*3 - 2*2
= 42 - 4
= 38

d) 2xy+x^2-y^2 = 2*2*3 + 2*2 - 3*3
= 12 + 4 - 9
= 16 - 9
= 7
