ii) \frac{1}{6}  +  \frac{3}{4}

 =  \frac{1 \times 2}{6 \times 2} +  \frac{3 \times 3}{4 \times 3}

 =  \frac{2 + 9}{12}

 =  \frac{11}{12}

iii) \frac{2}{9}  +  \frac{4}{9}

 =  \frac{2 + 4}{9}  =  \frac{6}{9}

 =  \frac{2}{3}
