Answer:

p(x)=x²+5x+6

let x be 1

p(1)=(1)²+5(1)+6

=1+5+6

=12

which is not equal to zero

let x be -1

p(-1)=(-1)²+5(-1)+6

=1-5+6

=2

which is not equal to zero

let x be -2

p(-2)=(-2)²+5(-2)+6

=4-10+6

=10-10

=0

therefore, (-2) is a zero of p(x)
