Please check if the following verbs are correct...

1. There has been severe famine in several
parts of Africa this year.

2. A lot of excitement is in the air, as the
children are going on a school trip.

3. Information on the film awards has not been

4. A roar of applause was heard as the
president and his wife entered the stadium.

5. Each of the singers has been given a
bouquet of flowers.

6. All the furniture in the junior classes have
been brightly painted.

7. The awful noise from the traffic outside
disturbs all the babies in our neighbourhood.

8. Ten thousand rupees is a lot of money to
spend in two days.

9. The king, along with his ministers, leave for a
tour of the kingdom soon.

10. Bread and butter is for breakfast today.
