a) This is known as electrostatic charge. On rubbing two neutral objects, one of them loess electrons(positive charge) and the other gains electrons(negative charge).

b) The SI derived unit of electric charge is the coulomb, which is defined as an ampere second.

c) i> rubber rod gains electrons --- negative charge
