a)
1) Army tanks are very heavy, so they release more pressure in land. To overcome or to divide the pressure, chains are used which make them easy to move anywhere. Ex- In wet sand.
2)The truck and motor bus has wider tyres because as more the area less the pressure . as the area increase the pressure will decrease , so there will be less need to apply more pressure to handle the vehicle.The vehicle will move smoothly.
3)The cutting edges of tools like blades, knives etc., are provided with sharp edges to cut the things easily as the sharp edges has small area on which the force is applied, hence more pressure is applied.

Newton Area=25 cm^2=0.0025square metre
thrust=100 N
pressure=thrust /area =100/0.0025 Newton per sq.
m =40000 pa
When force is reduced to 25 Newton changed pressure=25/0.0025
=10000 pa 1
Pascal is equal to pressure of 1 Newton per square metre.
