Length l of cuboid = 12 + 12 = 24 cm

Breadth b of cuboid = 12 cm

Height h of cuboid = 12 cm

Total surface area of cuboid

= 2 ( length × breadth + breadth × height + height × length )

= 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

= 2 ( 24 × 12 + 12 × 12 + 12 × 24 )

= 2 ( 288 + 144 + 288 )

= 2 ( 720 )

= 1440 cm²

= 2 × height ( length + breadth )

= 2h ( l + b )
